Currently citizens from Costa Rica may travel to Spain without a visa for visits that will be shorter than 90 days. Though, towards the latter part of 2022, all Costa Rican citizens planning to travel to Spain for purposes relating to tourism or business will have to complete an application form for an ETIAS visa waiver.
Applying for an ETIAS will fortunately be simple to complete and applicants will be asked to share personal particulars such as their full name, birthdate, residential address and passport details. The objective of this travel authorization is to help with immigration as well as security across the European continent. This new ETIAS visa waiver will also enable citizens from Costa Rica to enter the other Schengen countries.
