Spanish embassies in Peru
All across the globe, Spain boasts with 561 consular and diplomatic representations. In Peru specifically, there are six Spanish representations in total. These include the Spanish embassy that is located in Lima and five other Spanish consulates. What makes the embassy based in Lima so special is that it dates all the way back to 1860 when it was established. The consulates are found in Arequipa, Cusco, Iquitos, Piura and Trujillo. There are also Spanish representations in the following five neighboring countries: Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil and Chile.
Peru currently has over 10 representations in Spain. These include the embassy based in Madrid and 10 consulates located in Valencia, Vigo, Barcelona, Bilbao, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, Salamanca, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and Seville.
It is important to note that the Spanish embassy in Lima is only open from 09:00 till 13:00. Therefore, travelers should first contact the embassy to verify if they will be able to assist them with their visa and/or passport to avoid disappointment.
