Spanish embassies in United Arab Emirates
Emiratis can currently enter Spain with only their passports for periods of up to 90 days, and a valid passport is required. Any travel documents accepted for entry must be valid for a minimum of three months beyond the period of intended stay. All passports issued more than ten years before the date of travel may not be accepted.
An ETIAS authorization will be required for any Emirati citizen for a short-stay period in Spain beginning in 2022. The approved ETIAS will be valid for three years and can be used for an unlimited number of entries. However, for working, studying, or living in the UAE, it is necessary to obtain the specific type of visa from a Spanish embassy or consulate.
